A final da 8.ª edição do CanSat Portugal decorreu no Aeródromo Municipal de Ponte de Sor, entre 1 e 5 de Setembro de 2021. As 13 equipas presentaram-se em Ponte de Sor para lançarem os seus microssatélites em lata e procurar cumprir as missões a que se propuseram. Os MiniSalSat (Salesianos de Lisboa), vencedores da 1.ª edição do CanSat Jr, fizeream uma participação especial, extra-concurso.
A equipa SATaloios da Escola José Saramago de Mafra sagrou-se campeã e representou Portugal no CanSat Europeu 2021.
